embedded computers
This is page is meant to be some general notes of our experience running "embedded" computers. We're using "embedded" in a fairly loose sense here to mean computers that are generally much smaller than normal desktop pc's or laptops. Embedded computers may be computers that are entirely integrated onto one small board, might use flash memory for non-volatile storage instead of standard ide/sata disk (or maybe even no storage permanent storage at all (see diskless?)), and may lack many of the standard I/O (such as vga out) that desktop/laptop users may be accustomed to.
